New trustees appointed to the board of The American University of Rome

The American University of Rome (AUR), a leading American-accredited institution of higher learning in Rome, Italy, announced the appointment of five new members to its Board of Trustees.

AUR honors Jhumpa Lahiri & Carlo Petrini at its annual Commencement ceremony in Rome.

On awarding the honorary degrees, AUR's President, Dr. Scott Sprenger, highlighted the inspirational models that both Mr. Petrini and Ms. Lahiri provided for AUR students. He continued with the following laudations:
