Dr. Antonio Giordano, M.D., Ph.D is a Trustee of The American University of Rome, director of the Sbarro Institute for Cancer Research and Molecular Medicine, at Temple University, a professor of Pathology at the University of Siena, Italy, and a member of the NIAF Board of Directors.
The summer of 2020 I did an internship at the market research firm, Focus Marketing, in Naples, Italy. Despite the governmental restrictions due to COVID-19, their team was nice enough to let me join them for the summer.
On Sunday, December 13th, Special Commissioner for the Covid-19 emergency, Domenico Arcuri, unveiled Italy’s strategy for distributing the vaccine across the country, in an operation that brings together science, communications, artistic vision, and sustainability.
In September 2020 I began my semester-long internship with the Jesuit Refugee Service’s international office here in Rome. Like many of my peers, my experience was impacted by and conducted in compliance with COVID-19.
