Biography
Rosemonde Gurtner is an adjunct faculty member in the Italian Studies department at The American University of Rome, serving as a lecturer in Italian and as a teacher trainer; she has also taught at the Loyola Chicago University Rome Center.
She holds a Laurea in Lingue e Letterature Straniere (University of Rome La Sapienza), a Postgraduate Certificate in Applied Language and New Technology from Hull University, U.K., and the European Certification for Teaching Italian as a Second Language CEDILS - from Cà Foscari University of Venice.
Since 2001, Gurtner has been active in her field of specialization, serving in the following positions:
- Lecturer and Instructional Designer at the University of Trieste’s Language Centre;
- Teacher Trainer for ENAIP, a network of services for career training and work placements;
- Collaborator with AICLU, the Italian Association of University Language Centers;
- Didactic and Editorial Consultant for Alma Edizioni;
- Italian Lecturer at Roma Tre University.
